Gwala (ग्वाला) is a village in Karnaprayag tehsil of Chamoli district in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 1,007 metres above sea level, in the lower river valleys belt of Garhwal. As the crow flies it is about 125 km from Dehradun and 12 km from Gopeshwar, the district headquarters.
