Kota (कोटा) is a village in Thalisain tehsil of Pauri Garhwal district in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand, India. It belongs to Chopdakot patti (चोपडाकोट). It lies at roughly 1,535 metres above sea level, in the middle hills belt of Garhwal. As the crow flies it is about 103 km from Dehradun and 30 km from Pauri, the district headquarters. About Pauri Garhwal district
