Madola is a village in Rudraprayag district in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 941 metres above sea level, in the lower river valleys belt of Garhwal. As the crow flies it is about 101 km from Dehradun and 10 km from Rudraprayag, the district headquarters. The nearest town is Rudraprayag (10 km).
About Rudraprayag district
Rudraprayag district is named after the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini. It is the gateway to Kedarnath, with Guptkashi, Sonprayag and Ukhimath along the route, and to Tungnath, Chopta and Deoria Tal.
