Jamoli (जमोली) is a village in Salt tehsil of Almora district in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 1,134 metres above sea level, in the lower river valleys belt of Kumaon. As the crow flies it is about 60 km from Haldwani and 37 km from Almora, the district headquarters. The nearest town is Dwarahat (13 km). Salt tehsil has 227 villages listed on My Haldwani.

About Almora district
