Pagna (पगना) is a village in Kafligair tehsil of Bageshwar district in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 996 metres above sea level, in the lower river valleys belt of Kumaon. As the crow flies it is about 69 km from Haldwani and 8 km from Bageshwar, the district headquarters. About Bageshwar district
Bageshwar district takes its name from the Bagnath temple at the confluence of the Saryu and Gomti rivers, where the Uttarayani mela is held every January. It includes the Himalayan viewpoint of Kausani and the trailheads for the Pindari, Kafni and Sunderdhunga glaciers.
