Titri (तितरी) is a village in Didihat tehsil of Pithoragarh district in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 646 metres above sea level, in the lower river valleys belt of Kumaon. As the crow flies it is about 100 km from Haldwani and 22 km from Pithoragarh, the district headquarters. About Pithoragarh district
Pithoragarh is Kumaon’s easternmost district, bordering Nepal and Tibet. Besides the Soar valley around Pithoragarh town, it includes Munsiyari, Dharchula, the Patal Bhuvaneshwar cave temple near Gangolihat and the Kailash Mansarovar route over the Lipulekh pass.
