About Pauri Garhwal district
Pauri Garhwal stretches from Kotdwar at the edge of the plains to the high ridges around Pauri town, with Lansdowne cantonment, Srinagar on the Alaknanda, the Kandoliya and Kyunkaleshwar temples and part of Corbett’s Kalagarh area. Many villages here are still known by their traditional patti.
