Arsindi is a village in Rudraprayag district in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 2,966 metres above sea level, in the high Himalaya belt of Garhwal. As the crow flies it is about 117 km from Dehradun and 39 km from Rudraprayag, the district headquarters. The nearest town is Ukhimath (13 km).
About Rudraprayag district
Rudraprayag district is named after the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini. It is the gateway to Kedarnath, with Guptkashi, Sonprayag and Ukhimath along the route, and to Tungnath, Chopta and Deoria Tal.
