Gugli is a village in Tehri Garhwal district in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand, India. It lies at roughly 553 metres above sea level, in the lower river valleys belt of Garhwal. As the crow flies it is about 76 km from Dehradun and 40 km from New Tehri, the district headquarters. The nearest town is Srinagar (Garhwal) (4 km).

Tehri Garhwal was the seat of the old Tehri princely state. Today it is known for the Tehri dam lake, New Tehri town, Chamba, the Dhanaulti and Kanatal hills, the Surkanda Devi and Kunjapuri temples, and the Bhilangana and Bhagirathi valleys.
